The Syrian factions said in their statement that their forces took control of the entire city of Deir ez-Zor, which was also confirmed by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, with their control over all parts of the city.
For its part, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights revealed that the opposition forces took complete control of the city of Deir ez-Zor after the Syrian Democratic Forces withdrew from it,
The Observatory explained that the Kurdish-dominated SDF forces withdrew towards neighboring villages, after which the city fell into the hands of local Arab fighters who had joined the ranks of the armed factions following the lightning attack they launched against regime positions on November 27.
