A ration campaign to control markets in Alexandria
The campaign, led by Reda Hassan, Director of the Department, resulted in fruitful results, as the forces were able to seize an unlicensed food packaging workshop, and seized a large quantity of spoiled rice unfit for human consumption, estimated at 4,875 kilograms.
Large quantities of subsidized food supplies were also seized, including 3,495 kilograms of sugar and 2.5 tons of oil, in violation of the food supply law.
In another context, a street vendor was caught in possession of a large quantity of foreign cigarettes of unknown origin and not authorized to be traded. 259 packs of various cigarettes were seized.
The necessary reports have been prepared against the violators, and legal measures are being taken against them.
