The main index EGX30 fell by 0.25% to reach 30,208 points, while the Sharia index rose by 0.2% to reach 3,139 points, and the EGX100 index rose by 0.38% to reach 11,525 points.
The egx70 index rose by 0.55% to reach 8,409 points, the egx30 weighted index declined by 0.18% to reach 37,429 points, and the egx30 total return index declined by 0.14% to reach 13,291 points.
Shares of 188 companies were traded, with shares of 68 companies rising, shares of 28 companies declining, while shares of 92 companies remained unchanged, with shares amounting to 104.1 million shares, worth 361.7 million pounds, through 13,000 transactions.
The market capitalization reached 2,225,972 trillion pounds at the beginning of today’s trading session, compared to 2,226,776 trillion pounds at the end of the last session’s trading.
