The Banker website publishes in the following report the steps for activating the integrated “eSIM” for the first time:
– Make sure that your phone supports eSIM technology from the phone settings and search for the eSIM option in SIM Manager.
– Contact your customer service to check the availability of the eSIM service on your device. If the service is available, go to the nearest customer service branch for your line.
– Purchase an eSIM card and pay the fees estimated at 260 pounds when replacing your traditional line and 330 pounds when purchasing a new line, and you will receive the QR code for the service.
– Make sure that your phone is connected to WiFi.
– Use the QR code to download the SIM files, settings for the built-in SIM, and network definitions and store them on the electronic chip in your phone.
– Contact your customer service to confirm your data and activate the eSIM.
– The embedded SIM (eSIM) is available to all customers in the event of a new contract or SIM replacement.
The eSIM is activated through the QR code obtained by visiting the nearest branch.
– The eSIM service is only provided on smart devices that support eSIM technology.
In the event that the eSIM Profile is removed, the customer/end user will go to the customer service branch to request a replacement of the embedded SIM.
– In case of replacing the embedded SIM, the end user must ensure that the old SIM Profile (eSIM Profile) is removed.
