US Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell is scheduled to participate in a moderated discussion at the New York Times Deals Summit next Wednesday.
Investors will be closely watching any comments about the strength of the labor market, inflation expectations or how much the Fed might cut at its next meeting in December.
Aside from Powell, several other Fed officials are scheduled to appear during the week including Governors Christopher Waller and Michael Bowman, New York Fed President John Williams, St. Louis Fed President Alberto Moosalem, and Fed Chairwoman In San Francisco, Mary Daly, Cleveland Fed President Beth Hammack and Chicago Fed President Austan Goolsbee.
