Ashraf Anwar, head of the Nag Hammadi Center and City, announced the closure of the Shaaniya slides in the Nag Hammadi Center, north of Qena Governorate, starting today, Tuesday, for a period of 7 days.

Anwar explained that, due to the implementation of the railway renovation work related to the project to develop signaling systems on the Cairo/High Dam line, the Shaaniya slides will be closed for seven days, starting from seven in the morning until seven in the evening, indicating that the closure period will begin from today, Tuesday. Corresponding to 11-26-2024 until Monday, 12-2-2024 AD.
The head of the center and city of Nag Hammadi indicated that the Faw al-Tariq slides have been identified as an alternative route until the implementation of these works is completed.
