Today, Wednesday, press reports revealed the arrest of Danny Jordan, head of the federation South Africa Football player on charges of fraud and making financial gains while in office.

According to the South African Times newspaper, police forces issued an arrest warrant for Danny Jordaan, president of the South African Football Association, this morning.
She explained that Jordan is facing accusations of using his position in the Football Association for personal financial gain, during the period from 2014 to 2018.
Reports revealed that the President of the Football Association is accused of obtaining amounts amounting to 1.3 million South African rand, at a time when Jordan submitted a request to the court to prevent his arrest.
The newspaper concluded that Danny Jordan will undergo a hearing on his statements before the court, in the fraud case tomorrow, Thursday, before he is sentenced.
It is noteworthy that Danny Jordan has been a member of the Marketing and Television Council of the International Federation of Association Football, FIFA, since 1998, in addition to his presidency of the South African Football Association.
