Khalid Al-Falih, Saudi Minister of Investment, said that the “Jisri” initiative launched by Saudi Arabia focuses on a global supply chain initiative and on value chains in every industry and sector.
Al-Falih added that “Jisri” has 95 deals being worked on, worth more than 100 billion riyals, noting that Saudi Arabia is launching three complexes for the electric car industry and negotiations have been made with Hyundai to localize the car industry in the Kingdom.
He stressed that Saudi Arabia aspires to manufacture 500,000 cars by 2030.
