Today, Qalyubia Governorate witnessed several events over the past hours, the most prominent of which was a deterrent ruling issued by the Shubra El-Kheima Criminal Court, Second Circuit, to death by hanging, to an unemployed man, for accusing him of forcibly kidnapping a child from his home and assaulting it, under the threat of a sharp-bladed weapon, in the Shubra El-Kheima First Department District. After receiving the response of His Eminence the Mufti of the Republic and expressing the legal opinion regarding his execution for what he committed.
Death penalty for someone accused of forcibly kidnapping a child
The referral order for Case No. 12585 of 2024 Felony of the First Shubra Al-Kheima Police Station, registered under No. 1746 of 2024 in South Banha, included that the accused “E. A. E.”, 46 years old, because on 6/24/2024 he was in the First Shubra Police Department, Qalyubia Governorate. He forcibly kidnapped and mutilated the child “E.A.,” taking advantage of his being only a year old They had a neighborly relationship, as he intercepted him while he was walking on the public road and forcefully lured him to his home, taking him from his environment to that place away from the eyes of passers-by until he was able to detain him and seclude himself with him to complete his crime.
The referral order indicated that this felony was coupled with a felony of forcible assault, since at the same time and place he assaulted the victim by force and threat after luring him and assaulted him as shown in the investigations.
The referral order continued that he stole the cell phone described and valued in the investigations and owned by the victim, and it was through coercion that was imposed on him by threatening him with the following tool and the actions he did to him in order to prevent him from calling for help from anyone to complete his criminal act until he was able to paralyze his resistance and seize the stolen item.
Execution for the murder of a woman with a stone on her head
The Shubra El-Kheima Criminal Court, Second District, also sentenced an unemployed person to death by hanging, on charges of killing a woman with a stone on her head, following a dispute over a dose of drugs, in the El-Qanater El-Khayriyah Police Station, after receiving the response of His Eminence the Mufti of the Republic and expressing the legal opinion regarding his execution for what he had committed.
The referral order for Case No. 15795 of 2024, Al-Qanater Al-Khairiya Felony, registered under No. 1580 of 2024, south of Banha, included that the accused, “MAA”, 29 years old, was killed because on 12/5/2023, in the Qanater Al-Khairiya police station, Qalyubia Governorate. Intentionally, with premeditation, the victim is unidentified.
The referral order continued that the accused had the intention and determined to kill her following previous disagreements, and he prepared for this purpose a “stone” tool, and as soon as he got hold of it, he struck him several times with the aforementioned tool, which settled in her head, and he strangled her with his hands, intending to take her life, so he inflicted on her the injuries described in the report.
