During the past 24 hours, Qalyubia Governorate witnessed many events, the most prominent of which was a deterrent ruling issued by the Shubra El Kheima Criminal Court, Second Circuit Appealed, execution by hanging for a carpenter, after His Eminence the Mufti of the Republic responded by expressing a legal opinion regarding his execution for the second time, after accepting the appealed ruling. He had previously been sentenced to death by hanging, on charges of killing his brother with a knife and robbing him, in the Shubra El Kheima Second Division.
The Public Prosecution referred the accused: – “M.M.A.,” 21 years old – a carpenter, in Case No. 29115 of 2023, felonies, Second Division, Shubra El-Kheima, registered under No. 2700 of 2023, all of South Banha, because he was in the department of the Second Police Department, Shubra El-Kheima, and premeditatedly killed the victim. The referral order indicated that he had committed this felony with the intention of committing a misdemeanor theft, since at the same time and place he stole the movable property and the financial amount shown in description and amount in the papers and owned by the same victim from inside his residence, as shown in the investigations.
The referral order added that he had acquired a knife without legal justification, based on professional or literal necessity.
5 years imprisonment for her husband’s killer
