A short while ago, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, arrived at the headquarters of the G20 Summit In Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to participate in the G20 summit scheduled to be held on November 18 and 19.

For his part, Ambassador Ahmed Fahmy, spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic, stated that President Sisi is participating in the summit at the invitation of Brazilian President La da Silva.
This is Egypt’s fourth participation in the group’s summits in total, following participation in the Chinese presidential summits in 2016, the Japanese ones in 2019, and the Indian ones in 2023, which reflects the growing appreciation of Egypt’s international weight and its pivotal role at the regional level.
