Paraguay will move its embassy to occupied Jerusalem today, Thursday, according to what Paraguayan President Santiago Peña announced during his official visit to Israel, according to media reports.

Israeli occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu welcomed the decision, praising Peña’s courage in making the decision, as in 2017 Paraguay opened its embassy in Jerusalem, but in 2018 the former Foreign Minister decided to cancel the decision and return the embassy to Tel Aviv.

This step comes after several countries moved their embassies to Jerusalem, such as the United States, Guatemala, and Kosovo, while the vast majority of countries reject this measure.

In another context, 5 young men between the ages of 19 and 34 are being tried by the Dutch judiciary, after the attack on Israeli fans in the Netherlands a few weeks ago.

The trial opened for five suspects facing charges, including one of attempted manslaughter, after last month’s attacks in Amsterdam on Israeli soccer fans.
