Club announced Orlando Pirates The South African club has officially sold out of tickets for its match against its counterpart Al-Ahly in the African Champions League.

The official account of the Orlando Club stated on the social networking site X that tickets for the match against Al-Ahly have been sold out.

South African press reports previously reported that the match would witness the presence of 40,000 fans at Orlando Stadium to watch the match.

The match between Al-Ahly and its counterpart, Orlando, will be held at the latter’s stadium at three o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, the seventh of this month.

Al-Ahly is part of the third group of the CAF Champions League groups, which includes: Orlando Pirates of South Africa and Stade Abidjan of Ivory Coast, along with CS Belouizdad of Algeria.

The Red Team is at the top of the CAF Champions League Group C standings with 3 points, collected from one match played against its Ivorian counterpart, Stade Abidjan.

Al-Ahly won its opening match in the group stage of the African Champions League, 4-2, against the Ivorian Stadium of Abidjan.

While the Orlando Pirates team comes in second place in the group standings with 3 points, after its victory over CS Belouizdad of Algeria.
