Abdel Ghaffar added, during television statements: The system for developing health during the past 10 years is very huge, and we are doing everything possible and more to reach the Egyptian citizen and treat him.
He added: We are adding 4 people every minute, and this trillion pounds is for the Ministry of Health system, and this is not for university hospitals.
In a related context, Counselor Mohamed Al-Homsani, spokesman for the Council of Ministers, revealed the details of the inspection tour of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, to a number of health facilities in the Giza and Cairo governorates.
The Cabinet spokesman explained, during television statements, that the tour aimed to follow up on the performance of the health system and review the efforts to develop and raise the efficiency of public hospitals, in addition to ensuring the quality of medical services provided to citizens.
