The Spanish Football Federation announced that it changed the dates of the championship matches Spanish Super Cup Which will be held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Spanish Super Cup will be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, with the participation of 4 teams: Real Madrid, Barcelona, Athletic Bilbao, and Real Mallorca.

The Spanish Football Federation confirmed that the match between Athletic Bilbao and Barcelona will be held in the semi-finals of the Spanish Super Cup on Wednesday, January 8, 2025.
The match between Real Madrid and Real Mallorca will be within the framework of the Spanish Super Cup semi-finals, on Thursday, January 9, 2025.
The reason for changing the dates of the Spanish Super Cup matches held in Saudi Arabia
The dates of the Spanish Super Cup matches were changed, to provide an additional day of rest for Real Madrid, as it is likely to play a postponed match against its counterpart Valencia on January 2, followed by a match in the King’s Cup on January 5, 2025.

Saudi Arabia will host the Spanish Super Cup, in accordance with the agreement concluded between the two federations during the past seasons.
According to what the Spanish Federation said in its official statement, King Abdullah Sports City Al-Jawhara Stadium will host the Spanish Super Cup matches.
