The Egyptian Professional Clubs Association announced the transfer of two matches Al-Ahly Against Al-Ittihad of Alexandria, and Modern Sport against Zed FC, to Al-Salam Stadium instead of Cairo International Stadium.
According to what the Club Association said in an official statement, the Al-Ahly matches against Al-Ittihad of Alexandria, and Modern Sport versus ZFC, were moved to Al-Salam Stadium due to the lack of readiness of Cairo Stadium.
Al-Ahly will face its counterpart, Al-Ittihad Alexandria, next Friday at exactly eight o’clock Cairo time, in the third round of the Premier League competition.
The Modern Sport team will face its counterpart, ZFC, next Sunday at eight o’clock in the evening, Cairo time.
On the other hand, the first football team of Al-Ahly club resumed its training this Wednesday morning, at Mokhtar Al-Touch Stadium on the island. In preparation for the match against Al-Ittihad of Alexandria, which brings together the two teams on Friday evening, within the Premier League championship competitions
The training session witnessed the return of international players to participate in the training session, and a number of them were content to perform recovery sessions in the gym, after participating in the national team matches on the international agenda.
Technical director Marcel Koller was keen to meet with the supporting staff to make arrangements for preparations for the upcoming matches.
