The Ministry of Endowments said that the aim of this sermon is to educate the mosque audience about the great interest in the Arabic language and to raise generations to master it, and to draw the public’s attention to the fact that mastery of the Arabic language is what protects against terrorism and opens understanding of the treasures of the lights of the Holy Qur’an and its sublime meanings.
The Ministry confirmed that choosing this topic coincides with the launch of the activities of the 31st International Holy Quran Competition, which will begin on Saturday, December 7, 2024, in confirmation of the role of the Arabic language as the language of the Holy Quran and a basic pillar in preserving Islamic identity.

“Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds. Plenty of good and blessed praise. Praise that is sufficient for His blessings and rewards more. I bear witness that there is no god but God alone, with no partner. I bear witness that our master, the joy of our hearts, the apple of our eyes, and the crown of our heads, Muhammad, is His servant and Messenger, the purest of His creation and His beloved. The Arabic language is the beginning of building civilization, creating thought, elevating taste, and delving into the fields of beauty. The Arabic language is what strengthens thought. The Arabic language is what protects the mind from mistakes. The Arabic language is the beginning for extracting the meanings in the Qur’an that are beneficial to the mind, thought, and taste. Language Arabic is the infallibility of atheism and terrorism together. The Arabic language is national security. The Arabic language is a fortress and the beginning of progress and sophistication. The Arabic language is culture, beauty and life.
O people, appreciate the language of the Qur’an. Isn’t the Arabic language the miraculous language that God Almighty chose to be a vessel for His great words? Our Lord Almighty says: {Indeed, We have sent it down as an Arabic Qur’an, so that you may understand.} And God Almighty says: {And thus We have sent it down as an Arabic Qur’an, and We have conveyed in it some of the warning, so that they may understand. They fear or a reminder will be made to them. And our Lord Almighty says: “And it is a revelation Lord of the worlds * the Faithful Spirit has sent it down to your heart so that you may be among those who are warned * in a clear Arabic language.
Isn’t it the Arabic language that opens the treasures of understanding the Qur’an’s explanation, reveals its secrets to us, reveals its pearls to us, and guides us to its goals?! He who owns the corner of the Arabic language is an honorable heir to Muhammad, and he ascends through the paths of arrival. Ask Al-Razi how hundreds of issues, secrets and lights opened before his eyes while he lived with Surat Al-Fatihah?! Ask Abdul Qahir al-Jurjani how he invented the theory of systems that baffled minds and understandings, and made the world bow in reverence before the language of the Qur’an?! Rather, delve into the mind of Al-Tahir Ibn Ashour as he moves with you between the gardens of language to liberate the purposes and goals of Sharia law in a unique genius mixture. Before that, there was Al-Suyuti Al-Mazhar, for whom the sciences of language were collected to produce his inviolable mastery, “Mastery in the Sciences of the Qur’an,” which was filled with the secrets of language and other things.
O Muhammad! Have you not realized that the prophetic tongue has been given the most comprehensive words? Have you not seen the accelerated bliss we are in as we follow every eloquent letter, and even every honorable breath of His presence, may God bless him and grant him peace? One prophetic hadith is enough to paint a unique and unparalleled linguistic painting. Pearls and pearls should be extracted from it, and sciences and knowledge can be built upon it.
Live with your mind and heart with the masters of the language, contemplate their scientific output and intellectual heritage, so that their books will reveal to you the secrets and lights in the Qur’an. Let your mind and heart be astonished, and then you have no choice but to say: {No, We provide these and those with the gift of your Lord, and the gift of your Lord is not forbidden}.
Look at the libraries of the world, filled with millions of language works and their issues. Live with the catalogs of millions of manuscripts in various sciences to see how a civilization whose blessings are inexhaustible arose. Rather, consider with me how man is built in the circles of Al-Azhar, the columns of the Zaytouna Mosque, and the lessons of Al-Fatih School, then go to Nouakchott to listen. Ibn Malik’s Alfiyya is on its streets, and the children have sung and chanted it in a wondrous scene. It is as if I am with you now saying: O Creator of this beauty. Glory be to You!

The Arabic language is not just a tool for communication, but rather it is the carrier of the Islamic heritage and Arab thought. The Arabic language is our identity, it is the infallibility of our identity, it is the fortress of our identity, it is our heritage, it is the history of our ancestors, it is our present, it is our desired future, and if every nation is very proud of its language And you are jealous of her; Because it is the symbol of its sovereignty, the evidence of its survival, the title of its personality, and the path to its glory. You see that the English are very proud of the English language and spread it all over the world, the French as well, and the Japanese as well. So how about the Arabic language, which God Almighty chose to be the language of the Great Qur’an, and the key to understanding the Sunnah of the faithful Prophet, may the prayers and peace of my Lord be upon him. attic?!
Taking care of the Arabic language is not a luxury, nor is it something complementary or extra. Rather, it is at the heart of the treatment for our contemporary crises through building broad awareness and eloquent logic that understands linguistic structures and is aware of their standards. Until he chooses the sweetest words with the thoughts that straighten the mind.
O people of guarded Egypt, restore the Arabic language to its glory and honor. Fortify the minds of your children by learning Arabic. Build their awareness of the language of the Qur’an. Let your goal be to reach the new generations in the world of social media. How they love the language and relate to its aesthetics. Conjure the character of Egypt again, for the Egyptian character seeks its prestige. From her beautiful language.
