The Bahr Film Festival announced that it would honor the artist Mona Zaki In its fourth session, in appreciation of her artistic career, the festival is scheduled to be held starting from December 5 to 14 in Jeddah.
The Bahr Film Festival published a picture of the artist Mona Zaki, through his personal account on the Instagram photo and video exchange site, and said: We are pleased to honor Mona Zaki this year, who is considered an icon of Egyptian cinema. From the beginning, Mona was distinguished by her diverse talent in acting, singing, dancing and vocal performance, which allowed her to shine in a wide range of roles. Throughout her distinguished career, Mona has worked with top actors and directors in Egypt. We are proud to acknowledge the significant role it has played in the film industry at the fourth edition of the Red Sea Film Festival.
Mona Zaki’s works
Mona Zaki’s last work was the movie Journey 404, in which she starred, in addition to the appearance of a large group of honorary guests, including Mohamed Farrag, Mohamed Mamdouh, Sherine Reda, Khaled Al-Sawy, Shadi Alphonse, Rana Rais, Jihan Al-Shamasherji, Arifa Abdel-Rasoul, Samaa Ibrahim, and Noura Shaisha. Written by Muhammad Rajaa, directed by Hani Khalifa.
The movie Journey 404 talks about Ghada, who was involved in an emergency problem, days before she traveled to Mecca to perform the Hajj. She resorts to people from a tainted past with whom she had severed ties in order to collect a large sum of money. Will she be able to collect the money and travel for the Hajj, or will she change? Her life took a turn for the worse after she turned to her past friends.
