In the early hours of Sunday morning, areas in Alexandria witnessed rain that varied in intensity from light to moderate, accompanied by a drop in temperature and active winds.

The Alexandria Sanitation Company, headed by Major General Mahmoud Nafi, announced the continuation of its concentrations and the spread of the drainage company’s equipment to deal with and drain rainwater.
Alexandria drainage indicated that the General Meteorological Authority expects rain to fall, starting light and gradually increasing in intensity until the early hours of tomorrow, Sunday, at intermittent intervals.
Alexandria Governorate raised the maximum level of preparedness in the various streets of the governorate, following expectations of rain tomorrow and the governorate being exposed to bad weather conditions.
The Alexandria Water and Sanitation Company confirmed the completion of all preparations to receive the weather changes and rainfall, as the company’s vehicles were distributed in the streets of the governorate to prepare to pump water after the rain falls.
