Madbouly directs to raise the efficiency and develop the units built on the land of Imbaba Airport

Today, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, held a meeting to follow up on the development of the Imbaba Airport land, north of Giza, in the presence of Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, Engineer Adel El-Naggar, Governor of Giza, Engineer Khaled Siddiq, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Urban Development Fund, and Dr. Abdel Khaleq Ibrahim, Assistant Minister of Housing, Dr. Baher El Shaarawy, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Urban Development Fund for Investment and Sustainability of Projects, and Engineer Mustafa Abdel Wahab, Vice Chairman of the Fund’s Board of Directors for Follow-up. At the beginning of the meeting, the Prime Minister confirmed that the project to develop the land of Imbaba Airport, north of Giza, is one of the important projects that the state is working to implement, in a way that contributes to improving the services in this region. He explained that a large number of residential units had been built in this project years ago, and Part of it can be used as alternative units for the people of Warraq Island and others.

Dr. Mustafa Madbouly stressed the need for there to be a clear vision for the exploitation of the remaining units, as well as the better operation of the park in the area, directed at raising the efficiency and development of the units built on the airport land, while paying attention to the park and restoring its splendor so that it returns to what it was when it was opened at the highest level.

During the meeting, the Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities presented a report on development projects on the land of Imbaba Airport, indicating that the development sector includes the residential area and includes 3,100 housing units, in 158 buildings, where he discussed the position of allocating units and handing them over to the checkers, whether through the Urban Communities Authority or Al-Warraq Authority, in addition to the 222 shops selling parking in the residential area, and the development sector also includes the Imbaba Airport Park on an area of ​​38 acres. And a vacant land of 48 acres.

The Minister reviewed the proposals to offer the investment zone in the Imbaba Airport land to investors in light of its unique location, pointing out that the first investment plot of land with an area of ​​20 acres is being offered for multiple activities, commercial, administrative, residential, hotel and entertainment. A second investment plot of land with an area of ​​28 acres will also be offered for multiple activities as well. . The Minister also discussed proposals to invest in the Giza Park project as an entertainment project to maximize its benefit and serve the entire region.

For his part, the Governor of Giza presented proposals to raise the efficiency of the Imbaba Airport land area, as well as to benefit from the residential units therein, as alternative housing for residents of unsafe areas targeted for development.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Urban Development Fund also touched on proposals to develop a number of areas in the North Giza neighborhood, as part of the Fund’s efforts to develop unsafe and unplanned areas.
