Kuwait renewed a $2 billion deposit with the Central Bank of Egypt for a year, according to the report on the external situation of the Egyptian economy issued by the Central Bank.
Kuwait maintains deposits worth $4 billion with the Central Bank of Egypt, a tranche of $2 billion of which was renewed for a year and another tranche of $2 billion due last September, but the Central Bank’s report did not clarify the extent of its renewal or repayment.
