The Kafr El-Sheikh Antiquities Museum displays a unique artifact, which is a bronze statue of the Vizier Imhotep, shown sitting on a pedestal, with his hands resting on his legs and holding a scroll of papyrus, andImhotep, King Djoser’s minister of the Third Dynasty, is the best example of this, as the Egyptians sanctified him and elevated him to the ranks of gods because of the knowledge he possessed in many fields such as engineering and medicine.
This comes in celebration of Egyptian Flag Day, which is celebrated on December 21 of each year and was chosen because it coincides with the opening day of Cairo University in 1908 AD.
