Tehran announced that it intends to operate thousands of new centrifuges to enrich uranium.
According to Behrouz Kamalvandi, Deputy Director of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, these devices are expected to be installed within the next four to six months, according to the Iranian Students News Agency (ISNA).

Kamalvandi said: Through this, the Western parties that tried to pressure the Iranian nuclear program will face a different reality: a program that is much more comprehensive and advanced in both quantitative and qualitative terms, adding: This will certainly not satisfy them.
On Thursday, the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency adopted a resolution calling on the Agency’s Director General, Rafael Grossi, to submit a report on open questions related to the Iranian nuclear program by the spring.
For years, the IAEA’s inspection teams have demanded definitive clarifications from Tehran regarding indications of the existence of secret nuclear facilities and past nuclear activities.
If Tehran continues to refrain from providing answers, Grossi’s report may provide a basis for referring the issue to the UN Security Council, according to Western diplomats.
