The security services at the Ministry of Interior revealed the circumstances of what was reported to the Ras El-Bar Police Department in the Damietta Security Directorate, by a woman residing in the Damietta Police Station, accusing a taxi driver of threatening her with a knife, assaulting her, and seizing from her a sum of money, gold jewelry, and a mobile phone.
By conducting investigations, the Public Security Sector, with the participation of the Damietta Security Directorate, was able to identify and arrest the perpetrator of the incident, a driver residing in the Faraskur Police Station. When confronted, he confessed to committing the incident, and under his guidance, the seized stolen goods and the knife used to commit the incident were seized, and legal measures were taken.
