Investigating authorities in Suez Governorate decided to detain a truck driver who caused a collision between two buses and a motorcycle, which resulted in 15 workers suffering separate injuries on the Ataqa Road.

The investigating authorities requested a technical report on the accident and to hear the statements of the injured workers of the fertilizer and oil companies and the motorcycle driver after their health condition improved.
A medical source at the Suez Medical Complex of the Health Care Authority told Cairo 24 that those injured in the collision between the minibus and the vehicle transporting a trailer and a motorcycle are in stable condition, and most of them are expected to be released today, Monday, after being placed under medical observation.
The source explained that two of the injured were suspected of suffering a spinal fracture, and they are currently being carefully examined to preserve their lives.
In the same context, traffic movement was organized on the Suez – Ataqa – Adabiya road, all the way to Ain Sokhna, where Major General Hossam El-Din Ahmed Al-Douh, Director of Suez Security, directed the presence of traffic police to direct traffic on the road until the effects of the accident were removed.
It is noteworthy that the accident occurred as a result of a collision between a bus No. (I and W 4892) belonging to the “Future” Fertilizer Company, with a minibus No. (I and W 4629) belonging to the “AFCO Misr” company, and a transport vehicle No. (M D E 7541) with trailer No. ( MLF 3765) loaded with sand, and a motorcycle No. (TFP 9687) in front of the Suez Steel Company on Adabiya Road – Ataka.
