In a distinguished ceremony attended by ministers, artists, and public figures in the Al-Qubba Presidential Palace, the Commercial International Bank Foundation – Egypt (CIB) and the “Ray Misr Development” Foundation signed the agreement for the third phase of the “Healthy Children” project, which aims to expand access to care services. Health care for the most needy children in Egypt.
This project comes to make a positive impact by providing support for the operating expenses of more than 2,200 medical convoys, in addition to purchasing and equipping 3 medical convoys to serve more than 374,000 children in 16 governorates of Egypt, becoming a model for enhancing health care services for children on a broad national level.
The ceremony was honored by the presence of Mr. Ayman Abdel Mawjoud, Assistant Minister of Social Solidarity. The ceremony was also attended by a group of leaders from the Commercial International Bank, led by Mr. Amr El-Ganaini, Executive Vice President of the Bank, and Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Commercial International Bank Foundation – Egypt. Members of the Board of Trustees of the Commercial Bank Foundation also participated. From the international side, Ms. Angie Alle, and Ms. Nadia Hosni, Secretary-General of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees, along with the Foundation’s management team. On the part of the Egyptian Shepherd Foundation, Counselor Amir Ramzy, Chairman of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees, attended.
Amr El-Ganaini stated, “Our goal in the “Healthy Children” project is to ensure that children in the most remote and needy areas receive the health care they deserve. Because children’s health is the cornerstone for building a strong and sustainable future. The partnership with the Egyptian Shepherd Foundation helps fill large gaps and provides medical services. For children in need, without discrimination or exception, we are always proud of this cooperation.”
For his part, Counselor Amir Ramzy, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Raei Misr Foundation, expressed his appreciation for the great role played by the Commercial International Bank Foundation in serving all the most sponsored children of the Arab Republic of Egypt. For its part, the Raei Misr Foundation is keen to continue its efforts and cooperation with the Commercial International Foundation in order to Caring for children in Egypt.
The Commercial International Bank Foundation was established in 2010 as an extension of the bank’s social responsibility activities. It is a non-profit organization that focuses on helping Egyptian children most in need of health care services.
Commercial International Bank allocates 1.5% of its annual net profits to support the Foundation’s work, whose goals are to improve the quality of health care and nutrition services in Egypt, especially the most needy children who do not have adequate coverage of health care services.
