The security services at the Ministry of Interior revealed the truth about what was circulated on a social media page, including an audio clip of a woman in which she indicated that she had been assaulted and robbed by some people, claiming that the relevant police agencies did not react to her report.

It turned out that the aforementioned clip is old and dates back to last year 2023, and the defendants were arrested at the time and presented to the Public Prosecution. It also became clear that her claim regarding the failure to respond to her report was incorrect, and legal measures are being taken against the person who promoted the aforementioned audio clip.

On the other hand, the security services of the Ministry of Interior were able to arrest three people on charges of assaulting another person and forcing him to sign trust receipts.

The security services at the Ministry of Interior revealed the circumstances of what was reported to the Al-Salam Police Department, a second in the Cairo Security Directorate, from an unemployed man, who was harmed by two unemployed men and a woman “with criminal information”, residing in Cairo Governorate, for assaulting him with insults and forcing him to sign 4 trust receipts, and photographing him while assaulting him. Because there are family disputes between them.

Upon conducting investigations, the incident was confirmed to be true, and after codifying the procedures, they were arrested, and they were in possession of seized items, most notably a single birdshot and a number of bullets, in addition to a knife. When they were confronted, they admitted to committing the incident as mentioned, pointing out that the informant had seized a sum of money during his visit to them in their residence.

With their guidance, 4 security receipts with the victim’s signature were seized, and a mobile phone containing a video clip documenting their assault on the victim. When confronted with what was stated in their statements, he denied those accusations. The necessary legal measures were taken.
