The European Central Bank should cut interest rates next month due to the weak economy, ECB Governing Council member Martins Kazacs said in a television interview on Monday.
“Of course there will be a discussion, but my conviction is that given what is happening at the moment in the European economy, this should be followed by another interest rate cut in December,” Kazaks confirmed to a public television station in Latvia.
The European Central Bank has cut interest rates three times already and is expected to do so again next month.
