Cairo 24 obtained investigations into the incident of blogger Hadeer Abdel Razek being accused of attacking family principles and values in Egyptian society, by publishing through the information network her pages on the social networking sites Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, and her channels on YouTube, video clips and pictures. Hadir Abdel Razek confirmed before the prosecution that she did not publish videos on Internet applications with the intention of spreading immorality and debauchery, but rather to increase views and earn profits through advertisements for shops specializing in selling women’s clothing.
Thwarting the smuggling of 800,000 Captagon tablets worth one billion pounds
The security services were able to thwart an attempt to smuggle large quantities of the anesthetic Captagon to a country through an Egyptian port, with an estimated financial value of more than one billion pounds.
Information and investigations from the General Administration for Narcotics Control, in coordination with the National Security and Public Security sectors, confirmed the intention of a gang formation that includes highly dangerous criminal elements to bring a large shipment of the narcotic drug Captagon to be smuggled out of the country through one of the seaports of one of the countries using a refrigerator truck.
After codifying the procedures and through monitoring and tracking, it was possible to seize one of the members of the formation, with an ambush specially prepared for him as soon as he arrived at the port in the aforementioned car, and using modern technologies, it was revealed that he used secret hideouts, air cylinders and pistons, inside the body of the car to transport the Captagon shipment under the cover of the car carrying an export consignment whose documents included vegetables and fruits. The tablets were extracted from the cylinders and it turned out that they were 800,000 Captagon anesthetic tablets.
By completing the tracking of the remaining elements of the gang formation and preparing the necessary locations, 4 elements were seized in the governorates of Ismailia – North Sinai – Matrouh, and they were in possession of 42 thousand tablets of the same drug, and legal measures are being taken against two other criminal elements who hold the citizenship of other countries and reside outside the country, in coordination with the International Criminal Police. Interpol estimated the financial value of the seized items at more than one billion pounds, and legal measures were taken.

The beginning began when the security services in Minya Governorate received a notification from the emergency police stating that a two-vehicle overturn accident had occurred in the Ibrahimiya Canal in the aforementioned place. Immediately, a number of ambulances were dispatched, accompanied by civil defense forces, to the scene of the incident, extracting the victims from the canal and transporting them to the nearest hospital.
