The General Administration of Parks and Orchards, in light of the directives of Engineer Abdel Muttalib Emara, Governor of Luxor, raised the efficiency of trees in public squares and the Corniche in the city. Luxor; In preparation for the tourist season and Christmas, we intensified the work of pruning, cutting and trimming trees in public squares in Luxor.

The works included Iberotel Square to Marhaba Square, Corniche Street from Marhaba Square to the Bank of Alexandria, from the Conference Hall to Karnak, and from the Jolie Ville entrance to Al-Nasr Mosque Square in Awamiyah and Al-Jazeera Al-Wusta on the airport road.

The General Department of Parks and Orchards in the governorate completed the planting of 50 royal palm trees, varieties: Ordesca and Foxtail, in Al-Baghdadi, Miftah Al-Hayat, and Iberotel squares, the middle island in front of the Winter Palace Hotel, the middle island in King Abdullah Square, the middle island on the airport road, and Al-Nafoura Square at the airport.

Dr. Yasser Al-Sawy, Director of the General Department of Gardens and Orchards in Luxor, explained that the ponds in the squares are being prepared to be supplemented with seasonal flowers and ornamental plants.
