A source inside Al-Ahly revealed, Destiny Imam Ashour Al-Ahly club’s first football team player, after being excluded from the Al-Ahly Bank match scheduled for this evening, despite his apology following his crisis with Mohamed El-Shenawy, the team’s captain.
The fate of Imam Ashour from the Orlando Pirates match
A source inside Al-Ahly said in exclusive statements to Cairo 24, that the Imam Ashour crisis file has been completely closed, after the player’s official apology on social media.
The source added that Imam continues to serve his punishment by being excluded from group training, and is training alone for a week, and it is not true that he will participate in group training before that.
The source indicated that the player’s punishment will end next Tuesday, and he will then participate in group training normally, where he will be available to participate in the Orlando Pirates match in the African Champions League.
The source concluded his statements by saying that Imam Ashour’s participation in the Orlando Pirates match will be in the hands of Swiss coach Marcel Kohler, Al-Ahly’s coach.
Al-Ahly is preparing to meet Al-Ahly Bank at five in the evening today, as part of the fourth round of the Premier League competition, in the last rehearsal before the Orlando Pirates match in the second round of the group stage of the African Champions League.
