Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, stated that development, maintenance and efficiency work is being completed in the industrial zones of the new cities of Beni Suef, 10th of Ramadan, and Obour, which includes maintenance work on water networks, drainage, and stations, in addition to raising the efficiency of road networks and axes in those cities. regions.
This came during the Minister of Housing’s follow-up on the progress of work on projects being implemented in a number of new cities, stressing the necessity of implementing projects according to standard specifications and according to timetables, and clarifying the dates and areas of project implementation to factory owners and investors, in order to avoid any obstacles to the movement of industry.
In this context, Engineer Ahmed Abdel Jaber, head of the New Beni Suef Authority, continued the completion of the work of developing and raising the efficiency of some roads in the city’s medium industries zone, the implementation of which was assigned to a specialized company.
The head of the New Beni Suef City Authority explained that the surface asphalt layer of some roads in the city’s medium industries zone is being completed in accordance with the highest quality standards to serve investors in the city.
In a related context, Engineer Alaa Abdullah Mustafa, Head of the Tenth of Ramadan City Development Authority, received Eng. Ahmed Omran, Assistant Vice President of the Communities Authority for the Utilities Sector and Monitoring Maintenance of Networks and Stations, and Engineer Haitham Hammadi, Assistant Vice President of the Authority, on a field visit to follow up The progress of development projects in the city, especially the industrial areas, in implementation of the assignments of Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities.
The visit included an extensive inspection tour to follow up on the level of ongoing development in the city, which included works to fill random ponds in the industrial area, which are being implemented within the framework of efforts to improve the urban environment and reduce pollution. The progress made in other facility projects to meet the needs of the industrial area was also followed up.
Housing officials stressed the importance of the projects in improving the quality of life for the city’s residents and enhancing the role of the industrial zone in supporting the national economy, stressing the need to adhere to the timetable specified for their completion, and to ensure that development projects proceed effectively in a way that contributes to enhancing industrial and economic activity in the city.
In the same context, the Tenth of Ramadan City Authority, under the supervision of Engineer Alaa Abdullah Mustafa, Head of the Authority, launched expanded cleaning campaigns that included the east and center of the city and the industrial zone.
In the same context, Engineer Ahmed Rashad, head of the Obour City Authority, indicated that work is being carried out to develop and raise the efficiency of roads in industrial areas in support of industry, as well as to facilitate the passage of heavy equipment and vehicles transporting goods for factories and to prevent traffic congestion in those areas.
The head of the Transit Authority explained that the restoration work of the “asphalt” layer on the Western Extension, the asphalt layer work on 900th Street, is being carried out, as well as the full-width asphalt layer work on 600th Street, as part of a project to raise, efficiency and develop roads and sidewalks and complete the design sector and corridors for the Northern Extension. And the western part of Industrial Zone A.
