Dr. Hind Farooj, Director, said Institute of Planning and Housingthat housing projects at the present time have become at a sophisticated and distinguished level and are available to all classes of society.
Farouj added, in television statements: We do not currently provide just apartments in housing projects, but these apartments are equipped with services and all different facilities, which reach all categories and segments of society.
Social housing projects
Earlier, Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, followed the progress of work and developments in the executive position of a number of New Cairo City projects, including Egypt’s housing unit projects in the Fairgrounds area, the presidential initiative Housing for All Egyptians, sewage stations, roads in the city, and others.
The Minister of Housing directed periodic monitoring of the implementation status of various projects, especially utility works and site and road coordination, in addition to the necessity of setting specific time plans to complete various works, the availability of appropriate means of transportation and services for the locations of residential units, and coordination with the relevant authorities in this regard.
