Witness statements regarding the incident of Chef El-Sherbini’s wife’s son running over a delivery person
Cairo 24 obtained investigations into the incident where a delivery worker was run over by Chef El-Sherbiny’s wife’s son, causing his death.
One of the witnesses said before the investigating authorities when he was interrogated about his information regarding the incident under investigation: What happened was that at about 1:15 in the morning, I was walking in my car on Al Bustan Street in front of a compound… and I was walking at approximately 70 or 80 kilometers per hour… I was hit once. A car passed by me, a white Range Rover, and the one driving it had all its lights turned off…even though the world was dark and he passed at a crazy speed from the right…and it could be… Overclocking 200%.
The witness continued: The delivery man was approximately 100 meters away and was hugging him to the right.. and I could see it because I had my high beam on.. One time the Arabic Range Rover hit him and the delivery man flew into the air.. and the motorcycle kept rolling on the ground.. so I ran. Behind the car to stop her, and she actually stopped.
The witness continued before the investigating authorities: Two young men came out of the car. One of them was the driver and his name is Mazen.. and I don’t know the rest of his name.. and another one was with him, but I don’t know what his name was.. and they looked young, less than 18 years old.. and he kept saying that his father was coming.. and one time. One disappeared, and then I found a car, almost a BMW or a Tesla, that Chef El-Sherbini got out of.. and I learned that he was the owner of the car, the Range Rover.. and that his son had taken it from behind him like… What did he say? I suddenly found Winch coming to take the Range Rover. But I and the people I received prevented him. After that, Chef El-Sherbiny got into the car he had brought and walked away. I remained standing in the street until the police came.
