The Nag Hammadi Criminal Court, headed by Counselor Ismail Mahmoud Al-Farran, and the membership of Counselors Ahmed Mahfouz Abdel Latif and Tamer Yahya Muhammad, and the secretariat of Abu Al-Ma’arif Abdel Shafi Salam, Ahmed Abu Sahli, and Muhammad Kahlawi, a worker, was punished with 5 years in prison, for accusing him of possessing a weapon and causing the death of his friend. While they were riding a motorcycle in Gharbi Bahjoura in the Nag Hammadi center in Qena Governorate.
The events of the case go back to August 1, 2023, when the investigating authorities charged the accused, Saber. M. S., 28 years old, was charged with possessing a homemade Russian weapon and firearms in cases other than those legally authorized, and causing the death of the victim, Saeed S.A., while they were riding a motorcycle.

Investigations revealed that as the accused got off the motorcycle he was riding with the victim, a bullet came out of a weapon that the accused was in possession of, resulting in the death of the victim. The accused surrendered himself to the police, confessed to committing the incident, and revealed the firearm used in the incident.
The case No. 26901 of 2023, registered No. 3794 in Qena, was referred to the Nag Hammadi Criminal Court, which punished the accused with 5 years in prison.
