He ended her life by suffocation… Execution of his mother’s killer due to financial disputes in Qena

The Nag Hammadi Criminal Court punished the man accused of suffocating his mother in Naga Hammadi with death by hanging after taking a legal opinion regarding his execution, in the Naga Hammadi Center District, north of Qena Governorate.

The ruling was issued under the chairmanship of Counselor Ismail Mahmoud Al-Farran, with the membership of Counselors Ahmed Mahfouz Abdel Latif and Tamer Yahya Mohamed, and the secretariat of Abu Al-Maaref Abdel Shafi Salam and Ahmed Saleh Abu Sahli.

The events of the case date back to August 15, 2022, when the investigating authorities charged the accused, Abu Al-Majd. M.M., 27 years old, holder of an agricultural diploma, charged with the premeditated murder of his mother, Abla J.E., due to family disputes.

The case, No. 24677 of 2022 Misdemeanor, Nag Hammadi Police Station, and No. 3070 of 2022, Qena, was referred to the Criminal Court, which punished the accused with death by hanging.
