Dr. Muhammad Al-Duwaini, Undersecretary of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, confirmed during his speech at the Third International Conference for Basic and Applied Sciences of the Faculty of Science for Girls, Al-Azhar University in Cairo, under the title “Towards Green Sciences,” that this important conference confirms, through the research it contains, that the nation’s giving does not cease. And that the good in her will remain until the Hour of Judgment, and that if she gets sick or becomes weak, she will not die, and it confirms that the mind of the nation is renewed, and that its scholars They are able to connect authenticity and modernity with a strong rope, and they rely on their heritage and past without trapping themselves in it, and they are able to interact with the changing age.

The Undersecretary of Al-Azhar added during his speech at Al-Azhar Conference Center on Monday that the “green sciences” around which the conference revolves are among the most important scientific fields in the present era. Because of its strong relationship to climate changes that threaten the entire planet, as well as to the resources that all human beings have the right to benefit from in the present and the future, these are sciences that also have a great and strong relationship to economic mobility and material progress, so that they can be two sides of the same coin. ; At a time when “green science” is keen to reach sustainable solutions to environmental challenges, the economy seeks to achieve growth and prosperity, and “green science” is the path to a safe economy, and both are required of every conscious society.

Al-Duwaini: Al-Azhar conferences confirm that the nation’s scholars are able to link tradition and modernity with a strong bond.

He continued that there is no evidence of the connection between “green science” and the economy than the existence of an increasing demand for what he called the “green economy,” which aims to improve human well-being while reducing environmental risks and the cost of confronting environmental pollution and climate change, and despite the fact that Every new field may meet with some rejection or opposition from those who are accustomed to certain lifestyles, or from those whose personal interests conflict with the new situation, or meet some Difficulties related to financial costs, lack of awareness among a broad segment of consumers, or even the absence of organized legal support sometimes, but the hope in such conferences is that points of view will be brought closer, that they will go beyond the conference halls, and start… To the public with the means you have to convince people of the necessity of change that means a better life

The representative of Al-Azhar explained that Islam is the religion of science, and what must be clear in the mind is that Islam does not stop with science at the limits of Sharia science alone, but rather it extends to include the sciences of life, the sciences of the universe, and all forms of human activity. If we contemplate our heritage Deeply, we realized that much of what “green science” proposes has a religious origin that calls for it, or a legal framework that directs work within it, and examples of this include: crop cultivation. Genetically improved, so that crops are more productive and more able to withstand harsh climatic conditions, recycling organic waste and converting it into energy, biofuel or fertilizer, developing innovative technologies for water purification and reuse, and using friendly materials. For the environment in buildings and constructions, and designing them to suit healthy living, and other new approaches.
