Giza Governorate announced a number of precautionary measures to deal with the weather fluctuations witnessed in the weather, in addition to deploying a number of equipment to deal with any rainfall at any time.

The Giza Governorate confirmed that all sewage drains were cleared to drain rainwater, making sure that no electrical wires to lighting poles were exposed, and that the necessary measures for electrical insulation were taken, and any electrical cables were removed.

The governorate explained that a comprehensive emergency plan had been prepared and circulated to all neighborhoods, centers, and cities to deal with any weather fluctuations witnessed in the weather, such as rain or increased winds and dust.

Earlier, Giza Governorate warned citizens against the presence of anything hanging under real estate or the balcony of homes, while advising citizens with a number of instructions to avoid any disasters that may occur as a result of weather fluctuations and to deal with the bad weather that the country is witnessing during the coming days, which came as follows: –

Install any hangings on the facades of houses, roofs, and anything that may be affected by the wind and fall.

Remove all the pots (plants) on the balconies and place them in a safe place.

Close and raise any shade umbrellas on roofs or balconies and dismantle unstable pergolas.

– Ensure that home windows are closed well.

Do not leave hinged window leaves open to swing, collide or fly so as not to pose a danger to passers-by or damage belongings.

Safely dispose of any fuel containers of any kind or organic solvents and do not leave them on the balcony, on the roof, or in the garage, and do not pour them into the sewer so that they do not lead to explosions by mixing with the gases present in the wastewater.

Dispose of any “structures – cartons – sheets – rolls” stored on roofs and balconies.

– Be positive and immediately report any billboards swinging on lampposts or storefronts to hotline 114.

– Vehicle drivers on desert and highway roads must drive with caution.

– Do not leave your car parked on the edge of a slope or slope.

– Do not leave the car upholstery on, as it may fly off.

Pedestrians should stay away from trees, electricity poles, wires, billboards, and high places during this period.

Do not touch or approach any source of electricity during and after rain, especially lighting poles and electricity distribution boxes.
