Dr. Ahmed Samir Badr, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in North Sinai, said that 409 patients were exempted from fees for medical examinations for those unable to attend at Al-Arish General Hospital during last November.

Badr added in a statement that the Social Service Administration helps incapable patients by exempting them from the cost of medical examinations after carrying out comprehensive social research and visiting them at home.
In turn, Ibrahim Abdullah, Director of the Social Service Department, indicated that 184 patients were completely exempted and 225 patients were partially exempted at Al-Arish Hospital.
He added that social workers perform their duties towards incapable patients to facilitate medical service, noting that helping them is a humanitarian duty.
