TThe artist spoke Be patient About the Cairo Film Festival in its 45th session, in addition to her talk about artists’ support for the Palestinian cause by appearing with a Porsche map of Palestine on their clothes at the festival.
Sabreen said during her interview with Cairo 24: The Cairo Film Festival is my country’s festival and I must support it and attend it. Hussein Fahmy is a dear friend and colleague for a long time, and the festival is in the name of Egypt and we are under the command of anything that involves the name of Egypt.
Sabreen added regarding the festival’s support for the Palestinian cause: For a long time, before we were born, we support the people of Palestine, and now the people of Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq, and all Arab countries.
In another context, Sabreen explained about her distinctive appearance: I lost a little, the more you lose, the more things become nice for you.
Sabreen’s work
Sabreen previously participated in the Masar Egbari series, and achieved great success, in the last Ramadan 2024 season, starring the artist Issam Omar and the artist Ahmed Dash. The work consisted of 15 episodes, and the following participated in it: Mahmoud Al-Bazawi, Basma, Rushdi Al-Shami, Mai Al-Ghaiti, Nour Mahmoud, Mohsen Mansour, Juri Bakr, Yasmina Al-Abd, Nour Ihab, and others. The work is written by Baher Dowidar, and directed by Nadine. Khan.
The events of the Masar Egbari series took place in a framework of suspense and excitement, around two young men, Ali and Hussein, who live two different lives, then they discover that they are brothers from the father, who dies and leaves them evidence that changes the course of a murder.
