Today, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, met with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, Prime Minister of the State of Qatar, in the presence of Ambassador Amr El-Sherbiny, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Qatar.
This came on the sidelines of his participation on behalf of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, in the twenty-second edition of the Doha Forum 2024.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly stressed Egypt’s interest in supporting and enhancing joint cooperation in various fields, especially with regard to Qatari investments in a number of sectors in Egypt, pointing to the consensus between the political leadership of the two countries to expand the frameworks of cooperation between the two sides.
The Prime Minister expressed his aspiration to invest in communication between the two sides during the coming period to implement the various visions and proposals that were discussed, pointing out that there are many promising investment opportunities that Egypt looks forward to cooperating with the brothers in Qatar regarding.
For his part, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, Prime Minister of the State of Qatar, stressed the depth of relations between the two countries and the keenness of both sides to strengthen these relations.
At the same time, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani expressed his aspiration to deepen bilateral cooperation and increase joint investments for the benefit of the two brotherly peoples.
