The Prime Minister began the meeting by welcoming the delegation of the Qatari Businessmen Association, stressing his keenness to hold this meeting on the sidelines of his attendance at the activities of the twenty-second edition of the Doha Forum 2024, noting at the same time that Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, received him yesterday. Dr. Mustafa Madbouly added: We are fully aware of the interest of Qatari businessmen in investing in the areas of the real estate sector, food security, the tourism sector, and other sectors, and therefore we currently have a number of investment opportunities ready, which will be reviewed and discussed during this meeting.
The Prime Minister pointed out the important measures and steps taken by the Egyptian state recently related to economic reform, including what is related to the exchange rate, or the approval of the golden licence, as well as what is related to the tax reform taken by the government, in addition to approving many facilitations and incentives.
During the meeting, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly reviewed the total tourism investment opportunities currently available, whether on the northern coast, or inside Cairo, pointing to a number of tourism investment opportunities located directly on the Nile, in addition to investment opportunities in the New Administrative Capital, and other cities, stressing Anyone who wishes to invest in these projects will obtain a golden license, which will facilitate the rapid implementation of projects.
The Prime Minister added: We currently have contracting companies that have a strong reputation and long history in a number of countries, especially in Africa, and it is possible that there will be partnerships between the Egyptian and Qatari sides to invest in these countries.

For their part, the members of the Association referred to their meetings with His Excellency Mr. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and said: We were honored to meet His Excellency twice, as previously met with Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, and we have a very good impression of investment in Egypt, stressing that the Egyptian government has the ability to attract investments. At the same time, members of the association stressed that the urban renaissance that Egypt is currently witnessing and the distinguished infrastructure provide a good climate for investment, as well as facilitating the procedures that the government is currently working on.
The Qatari Businessmen Association delegation welcomed the partnership with Egyptian companies in a number of countries, including Africa. They also welcomed the investment opportunities presented, stressing that they will study them.
They stressed that Egyptian-Qatari relations are currently at their best, noting in this regard that they have visited Egypt more than once, especially the General Investment Authority in Egypt, praising the services provided by the Authority, and considering that it is one of the best investment authorities in the Arab world, stressing the work to benefit from The opportunities offered.
In a related context, representatives of the Association praised the Prime Minister’s proposal to provide a golden license for the projects being implemented, stressing that the Egyptian government facilitated the procedures, saying: “It is now our turn as investors to work to increase cooperation frameworks through joint investments.”
They also praised the great development in attracting investments in Egypt, which facilitates the establishment of various projects.
