The Arab Republic of Egypt condemned in the strongest terms the continued Israeli massacres in the Gaza Strip, the latest of which was the targeting of a school belonging to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Beach Camp in the Strip, which resulted in dozens of martyrs and wounded.
Egypt stresses that the continued targeting of UN facilities affiliated with UNRWA in the occupied Palestinian territories is a flagrant violation of international law and its contempt for the international community, which has become unable to defend its most basic humanitarian values and principles as a result of blatant double standards.
Egypt also condemns the recent Israeli raids on Lebanon, warning against continuing to violate Lebanese sovereignty, which would further complicate the regional situation.
The Arab Republic of Egypt reaffirms the need to activate international accountability mechanisms, calling on the active parties of the international community to adopt a firm stance towards the Israeli aggression and its shameful crimes, stressing the need to oblige Israel to respect international law and international humanitarian law and stop its unfair and unjustified war on the Gaza Strip and Lebanon.
