This accident resulted in the death of two people and the injury of 3 others. They were transferred to the hospital to receive the necessary treatment.
The security services in the Minya Security Directorate received a notification from the Rescue Operations Room indicating that a car had overturned inside the Ibrahimiyya Canal in the Samalout center. The accident resulted in a number of victims and injured, and they were transferred to the hospital at the disposal of the investigation authorities.
Policemen and ambulances immediately moved to the scene of the incident, and it was found that both Benjamin -A-W, aged 20, and Boutros -A-A, aged 38 – were killed.
While: Fadi-A-Y, aged 19 years, Bishoy-S, aged 25 years, and John-S, aged 18, suffered various injuries, including abrasions, bruises, and multiple fractures of the hand and legs, as well as post-concussion. They were transferred to Samalut Specialized Hospital to receive the necessary health care, and the bodies were deposited in the morgue at the disposal of the investigation authorities.
Preliminary investigations by the criminal investigation team revealed that the cause of the accident was the driver’s reckless overspeeding. The angel car was recovered from the canal and kept at the disposal of the investigating authorities. The traces of the accident were removed and the road was opened again to facilitate traffic. A report was written on the incident and the Public Prosecution took charge directly. Investigations and taking all necessary legal measures.
