On Tuesday evening, the people of the city of Beni Suef mourned the body of a wife who was killed as a result of her husband’s knife wounds. He surprised her in front of the property in which she lived, while she was leaving in the morning on her way to her work at health insurance in Beni Suef, and surprised her with several stab wounds that killed her instantly.

The people of Beni Suef, the victim’s family, and her colleagues performed the funeral prayer over the body in the Al-Salehin Mosque in the city of Beni Suef, following the afternoon prayer on Tuesday, and the body was buried to its final resting place in her family’s graves, amid a state of sadness and shock among the mourners, mourning the victim who paid with her life for marital disputes.
In the same context, the Public Prosecution decided to imprison the husband, M.H., 60 years old, a driver, pending investigations, accusing him of ending his wife’s life with several stab wounds, in front of her residence in the city of Beni Suef, due to disagreements between them, as a result of which she filed a lawsuit for divorce from her husband.
The husband had admitted in his statements, before the detectives, to killing his wife using a sharp instrument and stabbing her several times in different parts of her body, which led to her death. He explained that the motive behind the crime was the recurrence of marital disputes and his wife filing a divorce case against him, which he considered an insult to his manhood, so he decided Ending her life.
The accused husband said that he tried to convince his wife to give up the divorce case, but she insisted on completing it. The court set a session today to pronounce the ruling. The husband waited for his wife in front of the property where she lives, and an argument broke out between them because of her insistence on refusing to give up the case. He surprised her and stabbed her. Soaked in her blood, she took her last breath in the middle of the street.
The details of the incident began with the security services in the Beni Suef Security Directorate receiving notification of a report from the ambulance facility, stating that a woman in her sixties had been found with multiple stab wounds and lying in front of the entrance to her residence in the city of Beni Suef.
Upon moving and examination, it was found that the woman had died, and it turned out that her name was Satira. A., 56 years old, a health insurance employee in Beni Suef, said that her husband was accused of carrying out the crime due to family disputes between them, which caused their unofficial separation and each of them to reside in separate homes.
Investigations revealed that the husband works as a driver, and the wife is a health insurance employee, and they have three children, the eldest, Muhammad, 27 years old, and the youngest, Alaa, 24 years old. The youngest was their younger sister, Shaima, who died at the age of 22, about a year ago.
Disagreements have been brewing between the spouses for quite some time. The disputes caused their unofficial separation and each of them to live in separate homes. Recently, the wife filed a divorce suit from her husband, which angered him, so he decided to get rid of her as revenge for his dignity, according to his statements before the police officers, after he was arrested after less than An hour after the crime occurred.
The wife’s body was transferred to Beni Suef Specialized Hospital, and deposited in the hospital morgue, at the disposal of the investigating authorities. The necessary measures were taken and the necessary report was prepared. The prosecution authorized the burial of the body, and the accused was detained pending investigations.
