Media personality Hajar Halim advises girls
Hajar Halim explained in her speech that the idea of a man dominating the relationship and controlling all its details, or his mother interfering as a third party, is provocative and unacceptable.
She said: The relationship between two mature people should be based on respect and understanding, and not an arena to prove who has the stronger say or greater control.
Hajar Halim strongly criticized the interference of mothers in decisions related to marital life, noting that this often happens when a man cannot differentiate between his role as a son and his role as a partner.
Hajar Halim added, commenting: You are like a man, if you do not know how to treat your wife and protect her, leave people’s daughters alone and stay with your mother, and if you happen to get married, do not lose your wife because of your mother, and every girl says, stay away from his mother’s son because your life will remain hell and you will live your whole life trying to please her, and no matter what you do, it will not work. He will be amazed, and more generous than the one whose family is still spending money on him because of his age He doesn’t know how to make a decision as long as he is still receiving the allowance.
She also highlighted the concept of true masculinity, saying that it does not consist in imposing dominance or control, but rather in respecting the female partner and treating her as an equal partner in rights and duties.
She added: Masculinity is taking your partner’s opinion and dealing with her as a human being with a mind, an opinion, and a right.
