Director of the Qalyubia branch of health insurance inspects Banha Model Hospital and area clinics

Today, Dr. Sayed Galal, Director of the Qalyubia Branch of Health Insurance, conducted an inspection tour that included Banha Hospital and a number of outpatient clinics in the city of Banha, within the framework of the directives of Engineer Ayman Attia, Governor of Qalyubia, and Dr. Ahmed Mostafa, President of the General Authority for Health Insurance.

The tour aims to follow up on the progress of work in the field, and to determine the level of medical services provided to citizens, to ensure the provision of high-quality health care to them.

The tour included an inspection of several departments at Banha Hospital, including: emergency departments, intensive care and pediatric care, the premature unit, the internal department, the laboratory, radiology, the kitchen, the laundry, the stores and the pharmacies.

Review the branch manager, performance indicators, patient records, balance of medications and supplies, work schedules, and operation lists.

During his tour, the branch director followed up on the patients’ conditions and treatment plans, the passage of department heads, and the patients’ opinions and demands, as he was assured that the necessary medical services were being provided to them.

Dr. Sayed Jalal directed the preparation of an action plan to equip and operate intermediate care for children, to reduce the average length of stay and waiting time.

During his tour, the branch director confirmed the branch’s keenness to implement quality and safety standards, and adherence to the development plans set by the authority.

The branch director continued his tour, inspecting the progress of work at the Hassan Awad clinics, the governorate, and Banha Comprehensive, and thanked all the employees of the Hassan Awad and the governorate clinics for the outstanding performance and the presence of the doctors on the announced dates, and providing services to them easily and smoothly.

Review the branch manager’s attendance rates at clinics, attendance and departure lists, and the presence of doctors.

The branch director noticed some deficiencies in Banha Comprehensive Clinic, including: the absence of the internist, the failure of security personnel to carry out their duties, and deficiencies in daily cleaning work.

He directed the daily review of work schedules and the regular attendance of doctors at their appointments, while directing patients to be examined in evening clinics.

The branch director and the area director were tasked with reviewing the contracts of the security and cleaning companies and daily numbers, with the redistribution of security personnel within the clinic.

The branch director requested that each floor of the clinic function as a separate administrative unit to facilitate citizens, while expanding quality projects in the Medical Committee, and creating numbered cards to organize entry.

The branch director conducted direct dialogues with citizens to closely follow the progress of work.

At the conclusion of his tour, he recommended removing obstacles and making more efforts to ensure better workflow, stressing the need to listen to the feedback of patients and their families to ensure improved performance and the provision of services that meet their needs.
