On Saturday evening, the Manfalut axis in Assiut Governorate witnessed an accident in which a semi-truck truck loaded with workers overturned, resulting in the death of one person and the injury of 17 others.
The details came back when Major General Wael Nassar, Assiut Security Director, received a notification stating that there had been a report that a semi-truck loaded with workers and tomatoes had overturned on the Manfalut desert axis road, and that there were injured people.

Security services and ambulances moved to the scene of the accident, and it was found that one person died and 17 others sustained various injuries throughout the body.
Upon examination, it was found that the accident was the result of a car loaded with workers and tomatoes overturning.
The injured were transferred to the hospital to receive the necessary treatment and provide them with the necessary first aid. The body was also transferred to the hospital morgue at the disposal of the concerned authorities. A report was drawn up about the incident and the concerned authorities were notified to undertake investigations and take the necessary legal measures.
