The Bankir website publishes in the following report the controls governing tourist Hajj for the year 1446 AH
– Receiving applications for tourist Hajj will begin on November 20 for a period of one month
– Setting the date for the electronic public lottery to select pilgrims is December 23
– Levels include: 5 stars (A-B), Economy (A-B-C), and Wild (A-B-C)
– Allocating the largest number of visas to the economic and land levels
– Not allowing those who have previously registered in either the Internal Affairs or Solidarity lottery to apply for the tourism lottery
– It is not permissible to give up the opportunity of Hajj to any other person
– Limiting cases of replacement to death or the issuance of a judicial ruling restricting freedom
– Buses transporting land pilgrims must be no less than 2018 in age, equipped with GPS and carrying 40 passengers.
– Directing visa holders to tourism companies to include their data on the Hajj portal.
