Ahmed Soliman denies Zamalek’s interest in including Percy Tau
Ahmed Soliman said in television statements: Percy Tau has never been offered to Zamalek, and the club is not thinking at all about including the player.
Ahmed Soliman stressed: I confirm that there is no official within the Zamalek club considering contracting with any Al-Ahly player during the current period, and the same applies to Al-Ahly officials.
A source inside Zamalek had previously denied to Cairo 24 the club’s interest in including the South African, as he said in private statements: There are no negotiations with Percy Tau and the player is completely outside Zamalek’s accounts, with full recognition of his technical and physical abilities, but he is not in Zamalek’s accounts.
The source added that what is happening now is the work of agents, and Zamalek will not be drawn into such matters at all and will focus on what is coming next in supporting the team in the manner requested by Jose Gomez.
The source continued his statements, emphasizing that Zamalek has a place for one foreign player, and in light of the desire of technical director Jose Gomez, the player most likely to be in this position is the Englishman Ejaria, whom the technical director wants to include.
